Help me decide which motorcycle to get.? by Q: I currently own a 2003 Harley Anniversary Edition of the XL1200 Sportster. First bike, had it for about 2 1/2 months. I love the look of the Harley Night Rod Special (2012). I love the power and speed but most of all the look. It's absolutely bad ass. The other one I love is the Harley XR1200 X(2012). The look is cool: sort of a cross between a street bike and a traditional harley. The take off and handling are what interest me the most. It seems to be the perfect bike for tight turns and high speeds. However, my day to day activities may be what decides it for me, so I'm looking for imput. My bike is my primary mode of transportation. When I am able to buy one of these two, I will be living in Phoenix, AZ. Mostly serfice street riding with some freeway. Temperatures in the Sonora can get up to 120F in high summer and as low as 25F in winter (at night). Phoenix has heavy traffic and jams just like any other major city. I don't ever ride anyone with me but that could change in the future. Lastly, I am 6'3" at 220 lbs. Which bike do you think would be the best fit for me? Thank you in advance for the advice.

A: Ok What exactly do you want from a bike? The first half of your questions just talks about looks "I love the power and speed but most of all the look. It's absolutely bad ass." And it's just another Sportster made to look like an XR750. "The take off and handling are what interest me the most. It seems to be the perfect bike for tight turns and high speeds." If you truly wanted to go around corners and fast, then a Sportster is the last bike you want. It seems you are blinded by the brand of HD. Have a look around and there are a million other bikes that will shi t on them when it comes to performance and handling. Please don't give that crap about American bikes being the best. Save that for the rubes in their mid life crisis'. Do you want to look good and pose(and Harleys look VERY nice, no argument there) or do you want to ride fast? You can't have it both ways. If you are set on a HD, I would suggest a Dynaglide Fatbob. Very cool looking bikes

Edge is coming to Summerslam,LINK INSIDE? by Q: http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/headlines/Edge_To_Appear_At_SummerSlam_Talks_Retirement.php Edge stated in a new interview promoting his four-episode guest-spot on the Syfy series Haven that he would be appearing at SummerSlam. The former World Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to appear at Summerslam Axxess this weekend, but did not specify whether he would be appearing on the pay-per-view broadcast. "I basically started shooting Haven directly from Extreme Rules when Christian won the title. So it basically took up the entire summer. I have an appearance at Summerslam and after that it’s some serious outdoor time. Kayaking, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding, dog hiking, and whatever else I can find before winter hits," Edge told TVDoneWright.com. When asked if he intends to return to WWE, even in a non-wrestling capacity, he replied, "I'm sure I'll make appearances from time to time like (Shawn Michaels) does. I'm not interested in commentating, but maybe at some point something behind the scenes if it didn't involve the crazy travel. My days of over 200 days a year on the road are over." The Rated-R Superstar also says has some WWE appearances scheduled in Paris, France to promote a movie he shot last year for WWE Films, Bending the Rules (to be released in January 2012). He adds, "Beyond that I think it's time to find out what retirement is really like and catch the Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam on their current tours."

A: He will make some appearance in a non wrestling capacity like Shawn Michaels.

A democrat who doesn't like kool-aid? by L.T.M. Q: Reading this...I found myself in the awkward position of agreeing with a democrat. How about you? Sept. 9, 2009 | What a difference a month makes! When my last controversial column posted on Salon in the second week of August, most Democrats seemed frozen in suspended animation, not daring to criticize the Obama administration's bungling of healthcare reform lest it give aid and comfort to the GOP. Well, that ice dam sure broke with a roar. Dissident Democrats found their voices, and by late August even the liberal lemmings of the mainstream media, from CBS to CNN, had drastically altered their tone of reportage, from priggish disdain of the town hall insurgency to frank admission of serious problems in the healthcare bills as well as of Obama's declining national support. But this tonic dose of truth-telling may be too little too late. As an Obama supporter and contributor, I am outraged at the slowness with which the standing army of Democratic consultants and commentators publicly expressed discontent with the administration's strategic missteps this year. I suspect there had been private grumbling all along, but the media warhorses failed to speak out when they should have -- from week one after the inauguration, when Obama went flat as a rug in letting Congress pass that obscenely bloated stimulus package. Had more Democrats protested, the administration would have felt less arrogantly emboldened to jam through a cap-and-trade bill whose costs have made it virtually impossible for an alarmed public to accept the gargantuan expenses of national healthcare reform. (Who is naive enough to believe that Obama's plan would be deficit-neutral? Or that major cuts could be achieved without drastic rationing?) By foolishly trying to reduce all objections to healthcare reform to the malevolence of obstructionist Republicans, Democrats have managed to destroy the national coalition that elected Obama and that is unlikely to be repaired. If Obama fails to win reelection, let the blame be first laid at the door of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who at a pivotal point threw gasoline on the flames by comparing angry American citizens to Nazis. It is theoretically possible that Obama could turn the situation around with a strong speech on healthcare to Congress this week, but after a summer of grisly hemorrhaging, too much damage has been done. At this point, Democrats' main hope for the 2012 presidential election is that Republicans nominate another hopelessly feeble candidate. Given the GOP's facility for shooting itself in the foot, that may well happen. This column has been calling for heads to roll at the White House from the get-go. Thankfully, they do seem to be falling faster -- as witness the middle-of-the-night bum's rush given to "green jobs" czar Van Jones last week -- but there's a long way to go. An example of the provincial amateurism of current White House operations was the way the president's innocuous back-to-school pep talk got sandbagged by imbecilic support materials soliciting students to write fantasy letters to "help" the president (a coercive directive quickly withdrawn under pressure). Even worse, the entire project was stupidly scheduled to conflict with the busy opening days of class this week, when harried teachers already have their hands full. Comically, some major school districts, including New York City, were not even open yet. And this is the gang who wants to revamp national healthcare? Why did it take so long for Democrats to realize that this year's tea party and town hall uprisings were a genuine barometer of widespread public discontent and not simply a staged scenario by kooks and conspirators? First of all, too many political analysts still think that network and cable TV chat shows are the central forums of national debate. But the truly transformative political energy is coming from talk radio and the Web -- both of which Democrat-sponsored proposals have threatened to stifle, in defiance of freedom of speech guarantees in the Bill of Rights. I rarely watch TV anymore except for cooking shows, history and science documentaries, old movies and football. Hence I was blissfully free from the retching overkill that followed the deaths of Michael Jackson and Ted Kennedy -- I never saw a single minute of any of it. It was on talk radio, which I have resumed monitoring around the clock because of the healthcare fiasco, that I heard the passionate voices of callers coming directly from the town hall meetings. Hence I was alerted to the depth and intensity of national sentiment long before others who were simply watching staged, manipulated TV shows. Why has the Democratic Party become so arrogantly detached from ordinary Americans? The rest is also worth reading...(did I just say that?) http://www.salon.com/opinion/paglia/2009/09/09/healthcare/ Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with her motivation...but facts are facts.

A: Wow! Right on! None of this really surprises me, in that I know that most people in this country are intelligent enough to come to the same conclusion after looking at facts. This writer has just put into words what many have been thinking for very long now! Well done to the writer for being able to acknowledge the simple truth. This government couldn't even run a car stimulus plan, let alone a healthcare reform! "Apriring to be French" - Wow, seriously? You would like Obama to have more power and influence? Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Come on, this is the guy who tried to ram through a 2000 page healthcare without even knowing what was in it, and simply encouraged Americans to "trust us". Wake up.

Reviews and rates on Atlantis and Beaches turks and caicos!? by Q: Hi. I’m 15 years old and my family is thinking of taking a vacation this summer or this 2012 winter break (before New Year’s)! We're a family of 3, but I might take a couple friends (no more than 2)! We’ve found Atlantis Paradise Island Resort and Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort to be excellent according to their websites, photos, and some reviews. However, most/all of the reviews are VERY conflicting, some saying that either Atlantis or T&C is Heaven on Earth or complete Hell. That’s why I’d really like a personal opinion from experience. Here’s a list of my questions for you. Please try to answer them from experience and according to your trip. Please try to answer as many of them as you can! What you like/dislike about the: 1. Location. How’s the view from your beachfront/garden/water park hotel room? Was your view of the sandy beach, the distant ocean, a garden or a brick wall? 2. People. The other travelers/guests! Was the resort JAM PACKED or a GHOST TOWN? How filled were all the buildings, pools, and water parks? And restaurants and shops ect? 3. Accommodations. Was your room neat, clean and spacious (meaning NOT cluttered and claustrophobic)? Did they “freshen” it up for you each day? How was it presented to you upon arrival? Was it worth the money you paid for it? PLEASE NOTE: I’m looking for an answer NOT based on the $1,000 per person, per day room, we are NOT RICH, we are middle class. Please stay somewhere around $800 rooms and under... Thanks! 4. Beaches. How filled where they on the weekdays and weekends? How was the water and sand? What did they have on the beach (literally speaking, such as a cabana bed, chairs, umbrellas, ect)? 5. Water-parks. How big were they? How crowded? What were the best and worst rides, and why? What types of rides did they include (e.g. water slides, pools, wave simulators, tubing)? 6. Dining. How good was the food at the building/hotel you stayed at? How many food options were there at the resort? How good was the food and the service? Did they offer a wide range of food to pick from? Was it overpriced? 7. Activities. What were the most fun and least fun things to do there? What did they offer to do at the beach/in water? On land? Animal interactions (e.g. dolphins and horseback riding)? Was it an extra fee? 8. Night life. FOR TEENS. What did they have? Any clubs, movies, games, parties? Any teen-only places? 9. Service. Where the employees helpful and kind or mean and lazy? Fast or slow? Doting or unapproachable? 10. Prices. Basically, WAS THE TRIP WORTH WHAT YOU PAID FOR IT? Was it a rip off or totally worth it? What did you think could’ve been improved? Would you go back there again? Thanks! Please tell me all you know about either and both resorts, as they are different but comparable. What you absolutely loved, liked and hated. You can also just rate all those things, but please try to give a short explanation of them (I know I didn’t...!)! Thanks SO much!

A: WHY do you stupid females always write these long winded, stupid quesitons? Does your Father have the $5000 to $8000 it will take for your family and your friends to go to any resor? I'll bet your father doesn't even know he is going to shell out half a years wages to take you to some crappy old Casino on Turks and Caicos or to a fake theme park on a fake island where the only thing not fake are the highway robbery prices they charge for everythign. I don't waste my time feeding into fantasys and delusions.. and THIS is a both fantasy and a delusion
