Who was murdered that worked for Joyce Meyer? by wvpoemlady Q: Who's family was murdered that worked with Joyce Meyer's Ministries?

A: Chris Coleman, her security agent. He found his wife and two kids.

What do you think of views of Joyce Meyer on religion and government? read details? by Geyamala Q: If God is in fact separated from the government, then we can never possibly have a godly government. There's no way for America to be good if she's not godly. -- Joyce Meyer, explaining one of the core political dogmas of anti atheist bigotry at the Christian Coalition's 2002 Rally for Solidarity with [the modern nation of] Israel, quoted from Laurie Kellman, "Christian Coalition Hosts Rally to Boost Its Profile" (Associated Press: October 12, 2002)

A: I agree with her statement. Any real christian would recognize the validity of this. BTW: "anti-atheist bigotry"?

Joyce Meyer!? by sup? Q: ever heard of her!?

A: Yep, she is cool and so honest about her own tribulations . She was abused as a child and is a TV minister today , what can I say to that, but "look at God!!!"

Old question-What are your favorite Joyce Meyer conferences & books that have changed your life? by I represent possibility everyday Q: What are your favorite Joyce Meyer conferences and books that have changed your life and you felt like a huge weight had been lifted off you?

A: I have no favorite conference but I have to say something about Joyce Meyer. Do you watch her show? She smirks and struts around on stage in her $1,000 dresses, gaudy earrings, and pukey open-toed designer shoes. She bellows at her audience like an Army Sargeant in that deep grating voice of hers, chastising, belittling, and browbeating her audience for doing the very same things that she herself does. And does so as she dramatically blinks her eyes for emphasis ...... blink ..... blink blink, blink .... smirk, blink. It's almost as if her audience members are there because they have a need to be abused ("yes, mother, beat me some more, I deserve it"). She chronically spends a lot of time ranting and raving about her background, and constantly whines about her abuse as a child, and makes big issues out of all of the problems she has or has ever had, while she occassionally blends in a few patrial scriptures to make her demonstrative arrogance and faux theology look like "religion". She often goes on and on about her timid house-husband Dave with his fleet of very expensive sports cars (that she bought for him). He should be known as "Mr. Joyce Meyer". But he's not stupid, at least he glommed onto her money and keeps a death grip on it too. I'll bet he's perfected all the ways of saying "Yes, dear". She's amazingly egotistical because she starts around half of her sentences with the word "I" as if everything is about her (and in her mind it no doubt is). She goes on and on about "me, me, me" when talking about herself, her life, and her past. Actually, by observational analysis, she does nothing more that use her audience as her own personal form of Gestalt therapy for herself. And she seems perpetually annoyed too, always about something, and throws it off onto her audience in the attempt to make them "co-annoyed". Then, in the last minute or so of her show, she's sitting down somewhere and facing the camera as she calmly tells everyone how God loves them, then offers something for sale because it will "help" them, such as one of her books. Then she flies home in her million dollar private jet to a multi-million dollar family compound that's so large, elaborate, and luxurious that it would be the envy of J. Paul Getty. All of THAT is Joyce Meyer's "ministry", courtesy of her supporters.

Did Joyce Meyer have to overcome Borderline Personality Disorder as a result of the early childhood abuse? by bmwnot99 Q: to clarify, I am referring to the Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries. She is very open about the severity of the abuse she suffered as a child and she describes later issues in her personal life that sound a lot like borderline personality disorder. I am trying to find out if a Christian woman exists that has overcome this.

A: Psychiatry and Christianity don't mix- Psychiatrists claim that a person needs a drug to combat their chemical imbalance in the brain which is causing a persons mental disorder. However, the concept that a brain-based, chemical imbalance underlies mental illness is false. While popularized by heavy public marketing, it is simply psychiatric wishful thinking. As with all of psychiatric disease models, it has been thoroughly discredited by researchers. Diabetes is a biochemical imbalance. However, as Harvard psychiatrist Joseph Glenmullen states, the definitive test and biochemical imbalance is a high blood sugar balance level. Treatment in severe cases is insulin injections, which restore sugar balance. The symptoms clear and retest shows the blood sugar is normal. Psychiatrists do not draw blood to determine the presence of a biochemical imbalance in patients. Bad past/putdowns,rejection/father gone lets other things start. Anorexia, cutting, OCD, anxiety, panic attacks, hearing voices, psychic dreams can all come from a tramautic past and verbal abuse. Its opens doors to the negative and they start to dwell closeby. They have problems not you. Its the hurting mean people that have caused your sadness. You are just reacting to it and having emotions. God allows emotions and docs try to cover it up. Mens counseling is folly to Gods ways. 1. Read "Emotional abuse" websites see how people think. Read about 40. 2. Google "Deliverance Prayers"- stops sadness.

A: I've never been to a conference of hers, but Battlefield of the Mind, specifically the devotional has changed my life in a big way. It would have to be #1 on my list of books that effected my life in a positive way.

What are some topics that you love hearing Joyce Meyer talk about in her conferences on TV? by I represent possibility everyday Q: My mom watches Joyce Meyer all of the time.

A: ▓▓▓▒▒░░ ☼ Enkism is the oldest of all religions, first originating from the Sumerians. Enki has had many names throughout history, which include; Enki (Sumerians), Ea (Babylonians), La, Lahu, Ptah (Egyptians), and the most recent name, 'Satan'. The term Satan means 'enemy' but it has not always meant that. New religions, such as Christianity, have taken the god 'Satan' and created lies about him to make their own religion seem more interesting. Why do people say Joyce Meyer is another false teacher & preaches on things that sometime have no relation? by Shaun John Q: To the bible I hear she has said such things that have no basis in the Bible. Did you hear where Joyce Meyer said Jesus ceased to be God on the cross and in hell satan and the demons stood on Jesus mocking Him.First where did she get all this?Cause I can't find it anywhere in scripture. What do you think of this?

A: Personally I have a problem with nearly all televangelists. Most of them are "Health & Wealth" ministry types. But on the subject of the things she said: I could see why she would say something like "Jesus ceased to be god on the cross". First one has to explain why a man who is supposed to be "god" would say "my god, my god, why have you forsaken me. Why would "god" plead to himself? As for the claim that satan and some demons mocked him while he was in hell, no it's not in the bible. But if one believes that Jesus was in hell for three days then I guess that notion wouldn't be far fetched.

What are your favorite Joyce Meyer conference topics that relate to you or someone else? by I represent possibility everyday Q: My mom watched Joyce Meyer all of the time,I don't watch that much Joyce Meyer like I used to,but the conference I am listening to right now is called Slamming The Door In Satan's Face and I learned a lot about Satan,I already know that he can send me messages in my nightmares. go to my 360 blog and read about my 2 demonic nightmares.

A: I think some of the best teachings she has done is on calling out religious mindsets and spirits. "Religion" is probably the most harmful thing that can come between man and God because it's so deceitful and blinding. I can't begin to tell you how it felt to have that way of thinking taken out of my head by listening to her lessons on the subject. I never before knew or understood that God loved me, and He wasn't disappointed in me. When I finally got that though my head, I started to find obeying God so much easier and more natural. I no longer felt "pressured" to do right, it just started to come more naturally. Not that I always live exactly according to God's will. There are many times when my temper or flesh gets the bet of me, but over all I am doing better thanks to God working through Joyce Meyers. And if anyone want to gripe about the fact that Joyce is a woman, I'd just like to add that you will know them by their fruits. Joyce's words bring life and draws people closer to God, while those who condemn her only bring death and dead works.
