EJ Manuel 1-4: Elite; - Passing leaders who will throw over 30 touchdowns, win their division and are very efficient. 5-8: Pro Bowl caliber: - Passing leaders who will also throw over 30 touchdowns but may throw more than 10 interceptions, 9-14: - Capable of being a top-10 quarterback but at times could make crucial mistakes or isn't as efficient compared to the top 10. 15-19: - Mostly young quarterbacks who need more exposure in the NFL or need a team with more support. Showed flashes of brilliance but also showed that they aren't a top quarterback. Teams will build around these prospects and help these quarterbacks get to the next level. 20-22 - Kind of like the quarterbacks who are in the 15-19 category but not as efficient. 23-28 - Quarterbacks who are struggling on the NFL level. Depending on the coach, some quarterbacks may continue to start the player and get him some players to help him out or just go into the NFL Draft to find a new quarterback. Retired: Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, Big Ben, Eli Manning, Carson Palmer, Tony Romo and Matt Schaub I would put Cam Newton at #15 and push everyone down by 1 spot. IDK I made these rankings when I was bored haha RG3 is a good QB but I don't think he'll be elite.

A: Your mock draft looks decent. I don’t have Johnny Manziel going #1 overall though. Mainly because he will be a Run-Option QB in the NFL and Huston is not a Run-Option team. I actually had Carr going #1, because Huston NEEDS a pocket QB. Their only other option is to trade down to #5, but who knows what Jax or Cleveland will do…

Vikings first 2 picks in the draft? by alwaysandforever Q: who should the Vikings pick in the first and second round out of these options: First round options: -Teddy Bridgewater -Johnny Manziel -Blake Bortles -Sammy Watkins -Khalil Mack -Anthony Barr -CJ Mosley (I would add clowney but I realistically think he's the only player the Vikes don't have a shot at) Second round options: -Derek Carr -Jimmy Garopollo -Ryan Shazier -Xavier Sua Filo -Jason Verrett -Kyle Van Noy Personally I would pick Khalil Mack and then Jimmy Garopollo...I think the vikes will get a CB in free agency. Garopollo can sit this year out and learn under Norv Turner, I think he's better than Romo. Khalil Mack IMO is the best defensive player behind Clowney. So, what's your opinion??

With the first pick of the 2014 NFL Draft the Houston Texans select? by Shrek Is Love, Shrek Is Life Q: Blake Bortles QB UCF

Predict the top 5 picks in the 2014 NFL Draft (2 hours away)? by LakersAllday Q: 1.Jadeveon Clowney (Falcons trade up) 2.Greg Robinson (Rams) 3.Kahlil Mack (Jaguars) 4.Blake Bortles (Browns) 5.Sammy Watkins (Raider Nation)

If the Texans hire Bill O'Brien who would be the best QB to draft? by tristan_fiore Q: Between Marcus Mariota, Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel, Derek Carr, or Brett Hundley? Those are the guys that I have seen projected to go in the first round anyways. Oh and Teddy Bridgewater I have heard that Mariota is reconsidering returning to school and is thinking about coming out.

A: I think they trade the pick. Keenum hasn't played too bad and they might take a QB later like David Fales.

What will we see next year in the NFL? by Thomas Q: Here are mine 1. Bounce back team Texans 9-7 2. Bad Team Eagles 7-9 3. Bounce back QB Sam Bradford 4K Passing yards 34 TDs 15 INTs 4. Tim Tebow? Will stay as a free agent 5. Best Drafted QB Jonhy Manziel 2,500 passing yards 28 TDs 10 INTs WBU??

A: 1. I agree with this pick. I see the Houston Texans going 8-8 next season, but not yet good enough for a playoff berth. 2. Although I am an Eagles fan, the realistic side of me thinks this is a good pick. I think the Eagles will take a step back in 2014, as it will be tough to match the 10-6 regular season record, or repeat as NFC East division champions. I see the Eagles finishing about 8-8 next season. 3. Bradford is a very good pick, but I will go with Robert Griffin III here. 4. Actually, it depends on his work ethic during this offseason. If Tim Tebow rededicates himself to work hard and perform very well in practice every day, he will greatly improve his chances of getting signed to play for an NFL team next season. 5. I will go with Blake Bortles.

Which QB should the Cleveland Browns draft with the number 4 pick, I think it will be either Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel or Derek Carr? by Peter Q: For some reason Teddy Bridgewater has fallen out of the top 5, but I still think he will be taken in the first round.

NFL DRAFT: Manziel to be 1ST to Ticker Tape-Draft extravaganza? by Eric B Q: Fans, All this hype, hoopla, dizzying sports punditry, and proverbial roses tossed onto the red carpet before Jonathan Paul Manziel's 'official' Pro Day workout before scores of scouts, ...... ..... .....seems the day is a foregone conclusion by 'experts' = Q 1 ....which TEAM christens Manziel the The World's Greatest 1st Overall Pick of the 1st Round by sacrificing virgins on their team's altar***? Q 2. Why all the hype? Did he part the proverbial Football Red Sea while zinging bullet-passes against scores of fire breathing marauders***? *** ~ SARCASM. source: appalled at all the hype

A: I doubt that the Houston Texans make Manziel the #1 overall selection. I think that honor will go to DE Jadeveon Clowney from the University of South Carolina. As for the "Johnny football" related hype, that's all it is -- just talk. The most interesting move will be what the St. Louis Rams will do at #2 overall if Clowney goes to Houston. St. Louis has a QB already (Sam Bradford), so they may trade their pick to another team that wants Manziel, or possibly another top-rated QB like Blake Bortles of Central Florida or Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville. What's interesting is that the Rams held this same slot in the 2012 Draft, and traded the #2 pick to Washington, who selected QB Robert Griffin III. Washington gave St. Louis the #6 overall pick in that draft, plus their first pick in 2013 and their first pick in 2014 as well. What is ironic for St. Louis is that the #2 overall pick they currently hold is that final piece of the trade with Washington two years ago...so the Rams have come full circle. And again they're dangling the second overall pick to teams that are in need of a franchise QB. One wonders after seeing what Washington has to show for their move up for Griffin two years ago, will the Rams get as sweet a deal again for the #2 pick? #3 pick is Jacksonville, and I can see them taking Bortles or Manziel if they are there. I think Cleveland will take whatever QB is there at #4 overall, and I predict Clemson WR Sammy Watkins goes to Oakland fifth overall. If Manziel were to drop into the 20's overall of the first round, I wouldn't be surprised at all. His cockiness and off-field immaturity are red flags for a top-ten pick in my opinion. His athletic elusiveness plays well in college football, but might not in the NFL. He's just 6' 0" and that's small for an NFL quarterbacl. I know, I know, Drew Brees and Russell Wilson are that size -- but both those guys weren't even first round picks. It's a risky play as a GM drafting a young guy that size in the first round. If it doesn't work out, it's the kind o move that gets you fired. The draft should be exciting, can't wait to see what happens with the Rams' pick second overall...

In your opinion who will the first 5 five picks in the NFL Draft be? by Elizabeth Q:

A: 1. QB Johnny Manziel (Houston Texans) 2 OT Greg Robinson (St. Louis rams) 3. QB Teddy Bridgewater (Jacksonville Jaguars) 4 QB Blake Bortles (Cleveland Browns) 5 DE Jadevon Clowney (Oakland raiders) 6. OT jake Matthews (falcons) 7 OLB Anthony Barr (Buccaneers) 8 QB Derek Carr (Vikings) 9 ILB CJ Mosley (Bills) 10. WR Sammy Watkins (Lions) 11 OLB Ryan Shaizer (Titans) 12. Im 15, 5'7" and have a 13 shoe size, long arms and oversized hands. Will i hit 6'3"? by Jonathan Q: my cousin is 6'4" and my feet are nearly as big as his..... I want to play wideout, but I am too short, so I may have to play running back, but do not know if I am fast enough..... Just need to see some different heights and kind of average them out to get an idea.

A: The 6'0" Johnny Manziel has size 15 feet and hands that measured at 33 and 1/4" (bigger than 6'5" Blake Bortles' hands). You're definitely not done growing at 5'7", but it's not a guarantee that you'll hit 6'3". Who do you Think should be the First overall Pick in this year NFL Draft? by SECRET DESTROYER Q: I want to know who you think should be number the 1 overall pick not who you think will be picked 1 overall?

A: Let me break this down (im the NO.1 Texans expert) Ok so Matt Schaub is a very good QB he just had a bad year but Bob does not want Matt in Houston even if O'Brien wanted Matt. Bridgewater is not going to be it because hes not a top 5 player in the draft. Manziel will not be coming to Houston either he is not the O'Brien style of QB and the Texans organization does not like his work ethic and all that off the field issues with Mr.Football. Clowney. although the Texans were the worst team in taking the ball away and getting sacks the Texans will not get Clowney because Rick Smith is too smart he is thinking about the future of this franchise he just wont simply spend all the cap space on two DEs (Watt and Clowney) plus Clowney was a one year wonder. Blake Bortles. He is the pick. He fits the ideal O'Brien QB he has all the characteristics O'Brien likes in a QB Bortles is the safest pick in the draft he is someone the Texans know wont have off field issues work ethic issues.

NFL 2014 mock 1st round draft? by Winner Q: Who will go number 1? Where will johnny football go.

A: If the Houston Texans keep the #1 overall pick for the 2014 NFL Draft, and decide to go with a quarterback, I think Blake Bortles will be the pick. Johnny Manziel will be the 2nd quarterback taken in the draft, and will be taken either by Jacksonville with the #3 overall pick, or by Cleveland with the #4 overall pick.

Will the Texans be back in the playoffs next year? by Love2Answer Q: They were expected to be in the Superbowl this year after 3 years of making the playoffs. The qb (record high pick six) and offense stalled.........and the team gave up and the Texans were the worst in the NFL. Enter Obrien, Tom Brady's former offensive coach, and a #1 draft pick qb (Bridgewater/Manziel). Do you think these two can make the offense a threat and get the Texans back in the playoffs next year?

A: No, I do not see the Houston Texans making the playoffs next season. However, I think that the Texans will make a marked improvement, and finish with an 8-8 record in 2014. However, with Bill O'Brien hired as the new head coach for the Houston Texans, I think that Blake Bortles will be the #1 overall pick, if the Texans decide that quarterback is the way to go. Bortles fits O'Brien's system better than Teddy Bridgewater and Johnny Manziel.

Top 5 Quarterbacks in 2020 will be? by imme Q: Mine are: 1. Russell Wilson ( #1 because he probably will have more superbowl wins ) 2. Cam Newton 3. Andrew Luck 4. Colin Kaepernick 5. Andy Dalton

A: It's too far away to know. Lot's of rookies might come up and be superstars. Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles, or Teddy Bridgewater might be one of them.

Who might the Texans select with the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft? by Zach Q:

A: If the Houston Texans decide to keep the #1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and decide that quarterback is the way to go, then Blake Bortles is going to be the pick. Bortles makes a much better fit in Bill O'Brien's system than either Johnny Manziel or Teddy Bridgewater. If not Bortles, then the Texans will either take Jadeveon Clowney, or trade down the pick.

Should the texans draft Johnny Manziel? by The Real HI Q:

A: No, if the Houston Texans decide to keep the #1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and decide that quarterback is the way to go, then Blake Bortles is going to be the pick. Bortles makes a much better fit in Bill O'Brien's system than either Johnny Manziel or Teddy Bridgewater.

What NFL QBs can you compare these College QBs to? by Shrek Is Love, Shrek Is Life Q: Teddy Bridgewater Blake Bortles Johnny Manziel Derek Carr Tahj Boyd Zach Mettenberger AJ McCarron Aaron Murray

A: Teddy Bridgewater. A faster Alex Smith Blake Bortles. Blaine Gabbert. Johnny Manziel. A better Russell Wilson Derek Carr. David Carr Tahj Boyd. RG3 Zach Mettenberger. Ben Roethlisberger AJ McCarron. Andy Dalton Aaron Murray. Matt Ryan

Poll: Who will be the best emerging QB from the NFL Draft? by Bryce Q: TEDDY BRIDGEWATER DAVID FALES BLAKE BORTLES AJ MCCARRON JOHNNY MANZIEL DEREK CARR ZACH METTENBERGER

A: For me, it is Blake Bortles. He just has the size advantage and better decision making than Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater.

Question for those who watch alot of NCAA football, who is the best QB in the 2014 NFL draft and why? by Ryanizer Q: I admit I don't watch as much college football as I would like to so I get relegated to listening to analyst babble and highlights that point out good and bad about players. I would like to hear the perspective of an analytical fan in an attempt to wade through the b.s. D - Agreed. There is a serious pitfall to asking an NCAA fan about the best NFL QB. I should have maybe phrased that differently. I should have said "Question for you big time NFL fans who also watch alot..." That's really what I am after since you hit the nail on the head in saying one does not equate to the other. That's really what is behind my discarding (to a degree) the analyst talk and highlight reels.

A: Blake Bortles looks like a blue chip to me. Truly mobile. Big, big arm. Nice touch on the long ball, and is a capable leader. Pretty accurate as well. He'd be my best bet.

Who should the top five picks be? by joe Q: In order 1.)Houston 2.)St. Louis 3.)Jacksonville 4.)Cleveland 5.)Oakland I think the browns should avoid manziel

A: Johnny Manziel Jake Mathews Teddy Bridgewater Blake Bortles Sammy Watkins

who is the best qb in the draft? by Dreezy Q: i think it could be david fales even though he's inconsistent

A: Blake Bortles.

Could Blake Bortles be draft by the texans? by Anthony Q:

A: If Houston is serious about upgrading the QB position then Bortles would be a far smarter choice than the jug-eared [email protected] that played for A&M. Unfortunately, there is pressure within the community for Houston to draft Boy-ziel and the sockcucker has added fuel to this fire by openly lobbying for being the top pick. If Houston decides to draft Johnny [email protected] over a real quarterback they'll become the joke of the NFL, much like Oakland and Jamarcus Russell.

How did Blake Bortles run as fast as AJ McCarron? by TheBrady6 Q: I thought Bortles was faster than AJ. Why did he run a 4.93 and McCarron run a 4.94 in official 40 time.

A: Blake Bortles is obviously a lot quicker and more physical than McCarron which allows him to run more frequently. Also, another things to consider is that Bortles is a couple of inches taller and weighs over 20 pounds more (235-215lbs) than McCarron.

How good is Blake Bortles? by Z Q: Is there anyone who has watched him a lot in college? How good of pro do you think he will be, and should he be a starter first year or would he be better waiting?

A: Bortles accuracy is a concern of yours? LOL! 64.5% in the Fiesta Bowl is a concern of yours? How about his 67.8% for the season, 2nd in DI FBS, and 9.4 YD/ATT, 1st? LMAO!
