A: Terrible, simply because DT Shariff Floyd is projected to go as high as #3 and no later than #12 and you don't have him going at all in the 1st round. Also, nobody is taking a RB in the top 20 picks, nobody.

Detroit Lions mock draft. Your thoughts? by Restore the Roar! Q: Trade back from 5 to 12 to the Dolphins and receive 3rd & 4th round picks. 1. Barkevious Mingo, DE 2. Kevin Minter, ILB 3. A: If we trade down to 12 I would prefer Tavon Austin or Chance Warmack, but for the most part I would be ok with that.

Is this Mock draft good? by Matt Q: Chiefs 1. OL Luke Joeckel Jaguars 2. QB Geno Smith Raiders 3. DT Sharrif Floyd Eagles 4. CB Dee Milliner Lions 5. OL Eric Fisher Browns 6. DT Jesse Williams Ravens 32. S/LB Matt Elam/ Manti Te'o (Tie between the two.)

A: Nope. Geno Smith won't go that high, neither will Cordarrelle Patterson. Mingo won't go before Ansah or Dion Jordan. The Bucs no longer have the 13th pick, Green Bay won't take a TE, and Jonathan Banks is no longer considered a 1st or even 3rd round pick anymore.

NFL Draft 2013: 1st round mock INCLUDING TRADES? by Detroit Strong Q: 1. Chiefs: Luke Joeckel 2. Jaguars: Shariff Floyd 3. Raiders trade down to the #12 pick and get a 2nd and 3rd from Miami. Dolphins select Eric Fisher 4. Eagles: Geno Smith 5. Lions trade down to the #30 pick and get two 2nds and two 3rds from Atlanta. Falcons select Dee Milliner 6. Browns select Star Lotuleli 7. Cardinals select Lane Johnson 8. Bills select Tavon Austin 9. Jets select Dion Jordan 10. Titans select Chance Warmack 11. Chargers select Matt Elam 12. Raiders select Sheldon Richardson 13. Jaguars select EJ Manuel 30. Lions select Desmond Trufant 31. 49ers select Keenan Allen 32. Ravens select Justin Pugh MEGATRON: 1. 2nd and 3rd this year, 2nd and 3rd next year 2, That's actually a good thing. The Lions need to do a mini rebuild, and more good draft picks is a great way to do that 3. In what way is he not worth the 30th pick? He fits the Lions almost perfectly and is very talented 4. Werner is a risk. He's OK against the run and OK against the pass, not spectacular at either. I barely think he's worth our #36 pick. There are MANY WR options in the 2nd and 3rd round, and with the extra pick it'd be blatantly pointless to take a WR in the first when at least one will fall and be there to steal.

A: Bears might be looking to trade down as well.

Who would you rather have? by Ryan Zwang Q: Would you rather draft in the top 10 if all 3 are there: Jarvis Jones, Barkevious Mingo, or Demontre Moore on your team? Realistically, who fits the Jets scheme the best, too?

A: I would take Demontre Moore, he has a lot of upside and also he can be put in almost any defense so he would probably fit the Jets best.

A: yes, but too many d ends in your first few picks, there will be a lot of offensive tackles picked that early and the d ends will go more mid 1st, i think the seahawks are looking at that dt on ucla or the d end on texas, the ravens will only pick teo if he runs a better 40 on pro day in my mind, and i think there will be another qb besides geno selected in round 1, maybe a suprise pick like barkley or something.

Which LSU DE is better Barkevious Mingo or Sam Montgomery? by Sean M Q:

A: Before the season, I would say Montgomery but Mingo is playing ridiculously amazing and could be in contention for the number 1 pick that isn't a quarterback this year not to mention, his name is Barkevious. BARKEVIOUS. There should be a rule that is your name is Barkevious you have to be awesome.

Better fit for Browns: Mingo or Jordan? by Q: It's obvious that Cleveland need a pass rusher in their new 3-4. Who would be better at OLB for them: Barkevious Mingo or Dion Jordan? Or should they take a chance with Jarvis Jones and his stenosis? (I heard he was being taken off draft boards at the combine yesterday)

A: I would like to see them give Jarvis Jones a shot... Anything is better than what they have now......

DT Star Lotulelei (Utah) 4. OT Luke Joeckel (Texas A&M) 5. CB Dee Milliner (Alabama) 6. DE Bjoern Werner (Florida State) 7. MLB Arthur Brown (Kansas St.) 8. DE Damontre Moore (Texas A&M) 9. New York Jets first round pick should be a.........? by SHades Q: Who do you think they should draft in the first round? Assuming they will have pick #9-14? I say its a toss up between Tyler Wilson & Barkevious Mingo. What do you think?

A: If they aren't gonna give McElroy a chance next year then they should trade their number one pick and try to get a established Qb... None of the Qbs in the draft out of college will be worth a crap.....

What are some of the meanest NFL/ NCAA lineman? by Joe Q: Offensive or defensive are both accepted, personality wise AND on the field, if two examples are needed that's cool. I know some players can be monsters on the field and super nice off. I'm just interested in general. Thanks!

A: I would say Jets Center Nick Mangold would be one of the meanest NFL O-Linemen along with his teammate D'Brikashaw Ferguson, there were opening all sorts of holes for Shonn Green & Joe McKnight to run through 2 weeks ago against the Colts allowing them to gain 252 yards on the ground, for D-Linemen, the Steelers James Harrison & the Lions Ndumakong Suh probably perceived as being the meanest & dirtiest. For College O-Lineman, my guess would be Luke Joeckel & Jake Matthews from Texas A&M as well as Taylor Lewan from Michigan & Barrett Jones from Alabama, for D-Lineman, probably Jonathan Hankins from Ohio State, Star Lotulelei from Utah along with Barkevious Mingo & Sam Montgomery from LSU

A: I dont see the Bucs drafting D-line. They are set there and need help in the secondary. I also dont see the Giants drafting D-line either. For both teams that is their strength and they should be looking to help out in weak areas. Which for both is the secondary.

A: As usual, I will only talk about your top 10 because after that, there is a lot of debate on what can happen. I really don't think the Cardinals will take a QB in round 1. Their offensive line is an absolute mess and they need to address that in round 1. I think either them or the Lions, who lost both of their starting tackles, will take Eric Fisher. I think Geno goes to the Bills and the Titans take Chance Warmack at #10.

You're the Giants, who do you select with the 19th pick in the draft? by AC Stylin Q: I'm doing a mock draft as selected by Yahoo Answers users. You vote and choose who each team selects. A: Bjoern Werner. The Giants defensive philosophy has always been keen on building a strong d-line. With Umenyiora leaving, the G-men need a replacement at DE, especially because Justin Tuck's sack numbers have been dipping over the past 2-years. I think they take DE Werner, allowing the team to move Justin Tuck to DT.

A: Going to have to go with Cooper as well, offensive lineman are at a premium, especially in this draft, and Bradford is too big an investment not to protect him. This is a deep draft for safeties, and you can always find solid RBs in the later rounds, so they'd do well to address the OL with this pick, especially if we assume they use their first pick to grab Austin as a weapon for Bradford.

A: They lack depth along the defensive line, so they'll either go NT Kawann Short from Purdue or DE Marcus Hunt from SMU. Since they pick so early in the 2nd round, they'll probably take Short making the assumption that Hunt will still be there a couple of picks later.

You're the Ravens, who do you select with the 32nd pick in the draft? by AC Stylin Q: I'm doing a mock draft as selected by Yahoo Answers users. You vote and choose who each team selects. A: Cmon man, there were as many people saying Eifert as Short for the 49ers. Short is not a 1st round pick, the 49ers have no need for his skillset, and they would never waste a pick like that after signing Glenn Dorsey in free agency. I know it's a survey of Yahoo! Answers, but that's just beat your head into the wall stupid. Anyhow, Ravens need a Safety more than anything (well except QB, but even Flacco is better than this year's QB class). Elam is the pick there.

San Francisco 49ers - John Jenkins (DT) 32.Baltimore Ravens - Manti Te’o (ILB)

A: I don't see Milliner, the best CB prospect since Champ Bailey, falling to 19. He's a top 10 pick. I also don't like Eddie Lacy going to GB in the 1st round. As much help the Packers need in the running game, no RB in this draft is worth taking in the 1st round. Besides, Lacy, like Richardson and Ingram, was successful at Bama because of the behemoth line behind which he ran. Finally, I can't see Hopkins being a 1st-round pick. Other than that, solid mock draft.

What do you think of the Yahoo Answers chosen mock draft? by AC Stylin Q: These picks where voted on by Yahoo Answers users. Seems kind of pointless as there will most likely be trades in the real draft but nonetheless, what do you think? 1. Chiefs-OT- Luke Joeckel 2. Jaguars-DE/OLB-Dion Jordan 3. Raiders-DT-Sharrif Floyd 4. Eagles-CB-Dee Milliner 5. Lions-OT-Eric Fisher 6. Browns-DE-Ziggy Ansah 7. Cardinals-OT-Lane Johnson 8. Bills-QB-Geno Smith 9. Jets-DE/OLB-Jarvis Jones 10. Falcons-CB-Jamar Taylor 31. 49ers-DT-Kawann Short 32. Ravens-S-Matt Elam Probably not going to do round 2, don't have the time and the draft is just next week

A: Mock drafts are pointless. Nobody knows who the teams will or will not draft.

What do you think of this mock draft 1st rd? by bryan3X6X0 Q: Chiefs-Geno Smith Jacksonville-Dion Jordan (healthier option at pass rusher over Jarvis Jones) Oakland- Star Lotutelei or whatever. Philly- Luke Joeckel Detroit-Cordarrelle Patterson (need to take pressure off of Stafford with more options than Megatron) Cleveland - Dee Milliner (solid tandem with Joe Haden) Arizona - Eric Fisher (Will be a dominate LT in the NFL) Buffalo- Ezekial Ansah (Mario Williams needs help before that D can get going) New York Jets - Keenan Allen (They need a decent WR if they want Sanchez to do somethin) Tennesee - Sheldon Richardson would really help a weak DL San Diego- Chance Warmack would really help the run game. Miami- Lane Johnson (with jake long leaving this would help tremendously, i dont think Joe Philbin is going to draft a WR here that he could grab in the 2nd. Tampa Bay - Bjoern Werner kinda a risky pick but has the upside to be a steal in the middle of the first. Carolina- Damontre Moore New Orleans- With Rob Ryan in at DC i like Barkevious Mingo here St. Louis - Kenny Vaccaro (defense in St. Louis is quietly becoming a force) Pittsburgh- John Jenkins (a 3-4 DC's dream nose tackle tho a bit of an overdraft) Dallas- Barret Jones (they clearly needed interior line help and Jones is solid and can play both guard and center) New York Giants - D.J. Fluker (big nasty tackle Coughlin loves) Chicago Jonathon Cooper (best offenive lineman left and they need the help) Cincinatti-Alec Ogletree (Good match with Burfict) St. Louis - Arthur Brown (extremely light Inside Linebacker would switch out to OLB with ease great tackler) Minnesota- Xavier Rhodes (gotta have CB's to play in this division defensive is comin together well in Minnesota) Indianapolis- Giovanni Bernard (Good RB, good hands, good pass blocker) Seattle - Deandre Hopkins (might as well give Russell Wilson so more weapons) Green Bay - Travis Fredrick (big center, would translate better to guard, Evan Dietrich smith can play center) Houston - Eric Reid ( with him there defense is complete when healthy, good value this late in draft) Denver - Jonathon Banks (big tall corner to replace Champ) New England - Tyler Eifert (New England can never have enough TE's) Atlanta - Datone Jones (they need a defensive end) San Francisco- Jesse Williams (need to keep that defensive line fresh) Baltimore Kevin Minter (Ray Lewis replacement) @TNT well for one, the Lions need another WR if they want to contend and he's probably the best in the draft. Rob Gronkowski is a joke to the patriots. If he doesnt get his sh*t together quick belichick WILL trade him. If he cant act like a professional they wont tolerate it. No matter how good he is. And his injuries may have lost them 2 Super Bowls. He's very replaceable. Damontre Moore and Bjoern Werner are both the 2 big question marks. I can easily see them sliding out of the top 10 especially if they have a not so successful combine especially with all the depth at DT and DE in this draft. Also i would normally have New England taking a corner but i dont see them taking one in the first if Xavier Rhodes and Jonathan Banks are already taken. I just think with whats left he's a good pick and New England would clearly look into him anyways because of his position. Also didnt realize i forgot about Jarvis Jones. He'd be taken in the first obviously but i dont think in the top 5.

A: Even though I think very highly of Cordarrelle Patterson, the Lions aren't taking a WR in the 1st round, unless Matt Millen gets hired as GM sometime between now and the draft. Also, there's no way in hell Damontre Moore drops out of the top 10. His draft stock is soaring, mainly because he reminds everyone of his former college teammate Von Miller. New England won't draft another TE in the 1st round. Is this a joke? Bjoern Werner is a projected top 5 pick and you have him going outside the top 10, and you even call it a "reach"? Sorry, bud, I give this mock draft an F minus.

You're the Vikings, who do you select with the 23rd pick in the draft? by AC Stylin Q: I'm a mock draft as selected by Yahoo Answers users. You vote and choose who each team selects. First twenty-two teams already picked. 1. Chiefs-OT- Luke Joeckel 2. Jaguars-DE/OLB-Dion Jordan 3. Raiders-DT-Sharrif Floyd 4. Eagles-CB-Dee Milliner 5. Lions-OT-Eric Fisher 6. Browns-DE-Ziggy Ansah 7. Cardinals-OT-Lane Johnson 8. Bills-QB-Geno Smith 9. Jets-DE/OLB-Jarvis Jones 10. Titans-DT-Star Lotulelei 11. Chargers-G-Chance Warmack 12. Dolphins-CB-Xavier Rhodes 13. A: They desperately need a WR and Patterson and Austin are drafted. My pick is Keenan Allen

You're the Rams, who do you select with the 16th pick in the draft? by AC Stylin Q: I'm doing a mock draft as selected by Yahoo Answers users. You vote and choose who each team selects. First fourteen teams already picked. 1. Chiefs-OT- Luke Joeckel 2. Jaguars-DE/OLB-Dion Jordan 3. Raiders-DT-Sharrif Floyd 4. Eagles-CB-Dee Milliner 5. Lions-OT-Eric Fisher 6. Browns-DE-Ziggy Ansah 7. Cardinals-OT-Lane Johnson 8. Bills-QB-Geno Smith 9. Jets-DE/OLB-Jarvis Jones 10. Titans-DT-Star Lotulelei 11. Chargers-G-Chance Warmack 12. Dolphins-CB-Xavier Rhodes 13. Buccaneers-CB-Desmond Trufant 14. Panthers-DT-Sheldon Richardson 15. Saints-DE/OLB-Barkevious Mingo 16.

A: I could see them going a number of different ways here. It could be a FS, OL, or WR. I really don't expect them to take Patterson (although I also expect him gone by this pick), but I really think they will take Austin because they already have young talent at the outside receiver positions but need a slot guy with Amendola leaving. Tavon Austin makes a lot of sense for them, but will it be here or will they take a risk and wait until #22? Personally, I think they take Tavon Austin here, but I think ultimately it will come down to him and Jonathan Cooper and I would not be surprised to see them go either way. If they go Austin, they'll probably take Vaccaro at #22 because Cooper will almost certainly be gone but I could see Austin POTENTIALLY being there at #22 if they go with Cooper at #16.

You're the Texans, who do you select with the 27th pick in the draft? by AC Stylin Q: I'm a mock draft as selected by Yahoo Answers users. You vote and choose who each team selects. A: LB - Alec Ogletree - Georgia

A: D. J. Fluker and move him to OG. They had an absolutely atrocious interior line. If they do this i legitimately think they are EASILY a playoff seed.

As of right now the Lions have the 6th overall pick in the 2013 draft. Who do they select? by Jake (Get Ziggy WIth it!!) Q: I'm hoping for Barkevious Mingo right now. DB is deeper in the 2nd and 3rd RD so use those picks for a corner and safety. @Sam - 3rd round probably, he's not having a great year but still has the skill set. @Megatron - I know you think the Lions need a complete over haul but you're wrong. We can't afford to cut all of them...we have NO money to spend in FAs and have 5 draft picks. You want our DL to consist of Jackson, Suh, Fairley, Young, Ronnell Lewis, and our 2nd rd pick, come on.

A: You think the Lions could get Johnny Adams in the 2nd or 3rd round? He's a quality corner, and definitely better than every CB on the team other than Chris Houston. The Decepticons- so basically you want to release the entire defense. Okay. Jones definitely won't be on the board when the Lions draft. I'm hearing he could go as early as #2. Te'o wouldn't be a bad pick for the first round though. Although I feel like taking Te'o there would be a reach.

What do you think of my First NFL Mock Draft? by GGilmore4 Q: Hey guys this is the first mock draft I have ever done, so don't put to much effort or analysis into it. Analysis of my favorite team The Minnesota Vikings: 1.23 With the possible loss of Antoine Winfield, the Vikings are thin at cornerback. Chris Cook is solid, but has yet to record an Interception in his career, or prove that he can be on the field for an entire season; 2nd year Speedster Josh Robinson showed potential, but is still raw and inexperienced, and finally AJ Jefferson proved last year he is simply around for depth at the position. Regardless if Winfield returns to the vikings or not, they should be looking for a CB early in the draft. Based on who's left on my big board, Desmond Trufant is the best CB available, and a good pick at 23 in the first round. 1.25 The Vikings absolutely need to draft an ILB. Even though I am a fan of Audie Cole, I'm not sure he's ready to step in as a starter. Based on who's left on my board, I think the Vikings will draft Manti T'eo of Notre Dame. Now I am far from sold on Manti T'eo trust me, but before everyone starts slamming their keyboards think of it this way: 1. ILB is one of their biggest needs, and T'eo is one of the best ILB on my board who is left. 2. The last few years the Vikings have had a fetish of drafting or signing former Notre Dame players. 3. The Vikings have had no issue drafting players with questionable off the field behavior. 4. T'eo's off the field behavior is nothing compared to someone like Alec Ogletree. 5. I think a lot of teams will be willing to forgive T'eo in the BCS considering the whole team played poorly, and it was just one game, he is still a late first round talent, so the value would be pretty good. Finally I'm sure many of you are thinking, well what about WR? That is what day 2 is for. Picking up Greg Jennings gives the vikings room to wiggle, and not necessarily draft a WR in round one. Now you say, "Adding Jennings doesn't fix the problem, he just replaced Harvin, we still have a huge need at WR!" While that's true think of it this way, how better would we have been had rookie Jarius Wright been in the line up all year, but he didn't start playing til Harvin went out, and didn't get his first start til week 17 against the packers where he came up with 3 catches for 90 yards and a TD, including one catch in the fourth quarter that had he not made, may have kept the vikings from the playoffs. So we still would've needed help at receiver last year, but think of how much better we would have been with a healthy Harvin and Simpson, with Wright as the third man in the lineup all year? Wright is essentially a poor mans Harvin, very talented with alot of room for improvement. That gives us Jennings as our #1, Wright as our #3, Simpson as a #4 and a healthy Childs(sleeper) as a #5. So our WR corps isn't horrible, and with such a deep pool of receivers in the draft, the Vikings can afford to wait til day two to pick up our #2 guy, someone like Robert Woods out of USC, or Perhaps either Justin Hunter or Da'Rick Rogers. Anyway, let me know what you think of my first mock draft! 1 Chiefs ----- Luke Joeckel 2 Jaguars --- Dion Jordan 3 Raiders --- Sharrif Floyd 4 Eagles ---- Geno Smith 5 Lions ------ Ezekiel Ansah 6 Browns --- Dee Milliner 7 Cardinals - Matt Barkley 8 Bills -------- Cordarrelle Patterson 9 Jets -------- Jarvis Jones 10 Titans ----- Chance, Warmack 11 Chargers - Eric Fisher 12 Dolphins - Xavier Rhodes 13 Buccaneers - Star Lotulelei 14 Panthers ----- Lane Johnson 15 Saints --------- Kenny Vaccaro 16 Rams ---------- Keenan Allen 17 Steelers ------- Tavon Austin 18 Cowboys ------ Alec Ogletree 19 Giants ---------- Barkevious Mingo 20 Bears ----------- Arthur Brown 21 Bengals -------- D.J. Fluker 22 Rams (from Redskins) - John Cyprien 23 Vikings ---------Desmond Trufant 24 Colts ------------ Jonathan Cooper 25 Vikings (from Seahawks) - Manti T'eo 26 Packers -------- Eddy Lacy 27 Texans ---------- Deandre Hopkins 28 Broncos -------- Eric Reid 29 Patriots ---------Bjoern Werner 30 Falcons --------- Sheldon Richardson 31 49ers ------------ Damontre Moore 32 Ravens ---------- Kevin Minter

A: Pretty good. I like 4 Bama players in the 1st round.....

How do you expect your favorite NFL team to do this year? by Sean Q: Record? Playoffs? Steelers: 11-5 Win 1st round v. Chiefs Lose 2nd round v. Pats BQ: Based on where your team finishes who do you want them to draft? Me: Barkevious Mingo or Manti Te'o

A: The Niners will win at least 12, and have a good chance to win the big trophy.
